How it works (benefits)

Our company organizes training placements for internship at various companies in Vilnius for young students or workers who would like to try themselves in international working environment. We believe this is one of the best ways to improve their professional career prospects within the framework of ERASMUS+ programs. The main objective is to support young people to improve their skills, to help them to develop their professional career and to learn to work in an international environment.

At arrival a mobility coordinator will welcome the new beneficiaries and will help them with useful information. The beneficiaries will receive a schedule of the stay with information about the internship company. The coordinator of the program will accompany the participants to the interview with the training companies.

The process how Lithuanian companies could become EU Trade partners is quite simple.

First way is when your company can be in a list of the current partners meaning that whenever EU Trade gets call from sending organizations, you will be contacted if students are intended to have a placement in the field your company works in. We welcome companies to contact us and will get in touch with you as soon as any participants would show an interest to do an internship at your company.

The second way gives a chance for your company to be found by EU Trade project managers when we contact companies while looking for the possible partners in particular sphere. Once we get news from our international partners that their project is approved and students are coming to Vilnius on particular date, we start searching for the companies that could offer internship placements.

There are no financial obligations for partners, participants’ insurance is covered and their placements are unpaid. In short, there are only few things that Lithuanian companies as our partners are asked to do. Namely, it is to ensure qualitative internship and to allocate a supervisor for intern. We will also prepare a partnership agreement, i.e. the document confirming that the partnership is legal and all parts undersigned agree on contract conditions. The last thing to be done is to provide a short assessment of intern and the results achieved (so called Certificate of attendance).

Every other affair related to project participants’ stay in Vilnius is a duty of EU Trade team. This means that we commit to ensure the accommodation during the internship time, to give linguistic-cultural introduction and all necessary help, which fits requirements of the Erasmus + rules.
